ugh.
I want to brew more beer soon. The wish list is a French Biere de Garde, a Belgian Saison, and a Toasted Coconut Porter.
Too bad the budget does not allow for this for another couple of weeks. I has a sad.
But it looks like I’m going to make some lemon wine (aka really hard lemonade) this weekend that should be ready to drink (and at 10% abv) in about two or three weeks.
Oh, and I also...

NERDS OF AMERICA:
We were once a country that made things: giantmetal cars, Hoover Dams, non-AutoTuned popular music.
But now we are stuck in an economy in limbo, surrounded by our Internets, our hipsters and our arguing politicians.
Nerds, I have a great idea to make America great…

The Definitive List: Songs I Should Have Listened...
It’s another “glorious” Wednesday. The only things keeping me from typing mojunnbyimbypfkgkpppnrirtbmobpppppppppppppppppp with my forehead are my coffee [which seems to finally be pulling its weight (and it’s mainly water weight at that)] and the community printer in my office that startles me awake every few minutes.
It didn’t have to be like this. I could have...

Looks like my “______ of the Week” theme was a bit too ambitious.

Tastes of the Week (Volume One)
The previously blogged Terrapin Sun Ray has been released and is available for purchase all over town. I bought my first six-pack of the delightful liquid last night, along with a large bottle of St. Bernardus Apt 12.
The real taste of the week has been my recent discovery of Unibroue Trois Pistoles. It’s dark and delicious, packing an 18 proof punch. Sadly, it is not as readily...

O death, where is thy Sting?
There are some things that I will never understand. Quantum Mechanics is one. Infatuation with Sting and The Police being another. There is a certain generation of Americans that prefer to commemorate any and every occasion with live music provided by Sting. Say what you will about the tenure of President Dubya, but at least we never had to hear the sound of liberal optimism which (apparently)...

The Eleventh Minute of the Eleventh Hour...
“I will come to a time in my backwards trip when November eleventh, accidentally my birthday, was a sacred day called Armistice Day. When I was a boy, all the people of all the nations which had fought in the First World War were silent during the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour of Armistice Day, which was the eleventh day of the eleventh month. It was during that minute in nineteen...

This is the kind of stuff I do when I’m bored. The difference is that I don’t typically have a camera handy. The difference between “artist” and “pathetic loser” is the camera.
